Full-Time Import Sorter

About the role

You will join UPS’s warehouse team to load, unload, sort and stock inbound shipments. This position plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate handling of packages that support UPS’s global logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload UPS packages from trailers and package cars.
• Ship, receive, scan, sort and stock packages in a fast‑paced environment.
• Operate heavy machinery when required to move packages safely.
• Maintain accurate records by scanning packages and updating tracking information.
• Ensure safety standards are met while operating equipment.
• Assist in inventory control and package organization.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 70 lb (32 kg).
• Capability to read and memorize postal codes.
• Flexibility to work varied shift hours, up to five days per week.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to UPS handling procedures.
• Reliability and punctuality.
