Full-time Housekeeper / Cleaner

About the role

We are expanding the housekeeping team at Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort and are looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals to join us full-time. As a Housekeeper / Cleaner you will help maintain the high standards of guest rooms and public areas, contributing to an exceptional guest experience in a vibrant resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including bed making, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks within the allocated time frame.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Follow safety and environmental protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Maintain professional relationships with guests, colleagues, and contractors.

Required profile

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness and stamina for repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of specialised cleaning equipment.
• Safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals.

• Minimum 30 hours per week with a rotating roster (Monday‑Sunday).
