Freight Handler

About the role

Join a dynamic courier environment as a Freight Handler, where you will play a vital part in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly. You will work on a busy site in Auckland, supporting both daily tasks and occasional coverage at other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Load and unload unit load devices efficiently in a fast‑paced courier setting.
• Replenish consumable stock and manage inventory, including stocktaking and general housekeeping.
• Complete documentation, labeling, and packaging for Dangerous Goods destined for road transport (full training provided).
• Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as defined by contractual obligations.
• Work autonomously when required and provide cover for other Auckland sites as needed.

Required profile

• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.
• Motivated, reliable and physically fit (able to lift up to 25 kg).
