Freight Handler

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Freight Handler to join our busy courier warehouse in Auckland. You will play a key part in keeping our operations safe, efficient and compliant while supporting a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily safety checks and maintain a safe working environment.
• Load and unload unit load devices in a fast‑paced courier setting.
• Replenish consumable stock and manage inventory, including stocktaking and general housekeeping.
• Complete and verify documentation, labeling and packaging for Dangerous Goods destined for road transport (full training provided).
• Ensure Service Level Agreements are met and operate autonomously when required.
• Provide coverage at other Auckland sites as needed.

Required profile

• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good numeracy and computer literacy.
• High attention to detail and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Motivated, reliable and physically fit (able to lift up to 25 kg).
