Freelance Software Engineer – AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is looking for freelance software engineers to help train next‑generation AI models. You will work remotely on a flexible schedule, creating and evaluating code snippets that improve AI performance across a range of programming tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with a focus on Android development.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and detailed explanations for AI consumption.
• Evaluate AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Provide constructive feedback that directly influences future AI model updates.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Preferably experienced with Kotlin and Android development.
• At least a bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as a software developer, coder, or programmer is a plus.
