Freelance Electrical Engineer & Python AI Trainer

About the role

This freelance opportunity lets you apply your electrical engineering background and Python expertise to design computational problems that test and improve AI systems. You will work remotely on a project‑by‑project basis, contributing to real‑world engineering scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational engineering problems that simulate real engineering workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks that require numerical methods, iterative solutions, and optimization.
• Base problems on actual research challenges or practical engineering applications.
• Validate solutions using Python with standard engineering libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience in engineering or related domains.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS, CAP) are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (any of these are acceptable).
