Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Accenture is looking for senior technical practitioners to embed directly within priority client accounts across ANZ. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will own end‑to‑end AI‑native delivery, turning vague business challenges into production‑grade solutions in days to weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Embed within client teams as the primary technical owner from discovery through production deployment.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical plans and sprint‑ready backlogs.
• Rapidly prototype AI solutions, iterate on real user feedback, and scale prototypes to production‑grade deployments.
• Deploy AI workloads on client infrastructure, integrating with legacy systems, regulated data, and security frameworks.
• Lead AI‑native engineering using coding assistants, agent frameworks, LLM‑based workflows, and responsible AI practices.
• Define scalable architectures across cloud platforms and enterprise AI ecosystems.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentorship to raise delivery capability.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer with a strong track record of delivering end‑to‑end solutions.
• Comfortable working directly with clients in fast‑paced, sprint‑based environments.
• Ability to turn vague requirements into working proofs of concept quickly.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical decisions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
