Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join Radisson RED Auckland. In this role you will support the F&B leadership team in managing the restaurant, bar, room service and event spaces, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, room service and events.
• Lead, coach and motivate team members to deliver service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, health & safety and food safety regulations.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding and performance development.
• Coordinate service during peak periods and special events, monitoring quality and efficiency.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support stock control, ordering and inventory management.
• Assist with rostering, labour cost management and bar operations.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Residency, citizenship or a valid work visa for New Zealand.

Required skills

• Current LCQ (Licensed Catering Qualification) – preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Duty Manager Certificate – preferred or willingness to obtain.
