Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager will lead the delivery of exceptional guest experiences across five outlets, including conference and banquet services, at InterContinental Wellington. You will drive operational excellence, profitability, and team development in a dynamic five‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee five food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service and profitability.
• Support and develop outlet managers to create thriving, profitable offerings.
• Drive performance, engagement, and learning opportunities for the F&B team.
• Design and implement strong systems and processes for effective communication within the department.
• Maintain visible presence on the floor to support teams and foster strong internal relationships.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex relationships.
• Proven ability to develop and manage a large team.
• Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, events, and public holidays as required.
