Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Novotel Wellington as a Food & Beverage Attendant, where you will create memorable dining experiences for guests across breakfast, lunch and dinner services. This part‑time role offers a dynamic environment in a modern hotel with stunning harbour views.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver meals and drinks promptly, clear tables and reset dining areas.
• Process payments using POS systems and handle cash or card transactions.
• Maintain clean and stocked service stations, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Communicate dietary requirements or guest concerns to the kitchen team.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including daily cleaning checklists.

Required profile

• Flexible to work a rotating 7‑day roster with shifts from early morning to late night.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light trays or equipment.
• NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa (no sponsorship available).
• Friendly, professional attitude with a passion for hospitality.

Required skills

• Experience operating POS systems.
