Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the Sofitel hotel team as a Food & Beverage Attendant, where you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering friendly, personalized service and ensuring every dining experience reflects the brand’s French zest and heartfelt hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with guests in a personable manner, building rapport and creating connections.
• Take orders accurately, repeat them to guests, and suggest menu items to maximise sales.
• Write clear dockets for the kitchen and cashier, deliver orders promptly, and ensure meals are presented at the correct temperature.
• Maintain clean and tidy tables and service areas according to the procedure manual.
• Apply hygienic food‑service techniques and uphold Sofitel brand standards throughout service.
• Answer telephone calls, assist with event set‑up and breakdown, and deliver room service and amenities as required.
• Take responsibility for a designated section, supporting supervisors and hotel management with any reasonable requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar food‑and‑beverage role, preferably in a 5‑star hotel.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise time effectively and establish rapport with guests and team members.
• Willingness to learn, train and develop staff when needed.
