Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the F&B department at Mövenpick Hotel Auckland, ensuring a seamless, high‑quality guest experience across all dining venues, including the MICHELIN Guide‑recognised BODA Restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily service delivery, maintaining efficiency and standards.
• Lead, coach and coordinate team members on shift, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Deliver friendly, professional service and respond promptly to guest feedback.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and service standards.
• Train staff to achieve strong product knowledge and 5‑star service.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
• Assist with stock management, upselling and departmental financial performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or team‑leader role.
• Duty Manager’s Certificate (required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, make independent decisions and resolve issues.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in a 4 or 5‑star hotel environment is preferred.
