Fixed-Term Caregiver (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village in Christchurch on a fixed‑term basis, covering maternity leave. You will work alongside a supportive, diverse team to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care for our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with residents and their families.
• Follow individual care plans and deliver care with the same standards you would expect for your own loved ones.
• Utilise the myRyman care app and other technology to record and monitor care activities.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Kind, empathetic and reliable with a professional attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Previous experience in aged‑care is desirable but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Comfort using a mobile care application (myRyman).
