Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Finance leader to head the Financial Planning & Analysis function for our New Zealand operations. The role will partner with business units to drive financial accountability, provide insight‑driven recommendations and support the group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning cycles.
• Produce accurate financial analysis, reporting and performance dashboards for senior decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify risks, opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs and reporting frameworks.
• Support month‑end close and ensure data quality across financial systems.
• Build and mentor the FP&A and business‑partnering capability within the NZ finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, business analysis or finance partnering.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or CA) is advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
