Finance Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a major transport infrastructure project in New Zealand. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting while maintaining compliance with corporate controls and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial reporting and analysis for the project.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow models.
• Monitor project costs against contract terms and approved budgets.
• Ensure compliance with ACCIONA’s financial controls and policies.
• Partner with commercial, project management and site teams to support decision‑making.
• Support audits, insurance and tax requirements.
• Guide and develop members of the finance team.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or equivalent finance qualification.
• Experience in construction or infrastructure finance.
• Strong financial modelling and reporting capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of contract and cost management.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
