Finance Manager

About the role

Endura Mining is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide strategic financial oversight across its New Zealand site operations and support rapid growth. This senior position will lead site‑based finance activities, deliver insightful analysis, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site‑based finance and accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop, monitor and manage annual budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insights to support operational decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
• Oversee financial controls, risk management processes and internal audit requirements.
• Support cost‑management initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Partner with department leaders to monitor performance against budgets and KPIs.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• CPA, CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Significant experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant or Financial Controller role.
• Previous experience within mining, resources or heavy‑industry sectors.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation and corporate governance.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
