About the role

The Finance & Business Administration Manager will lead the finance function for an established Northland contracting business. This role combines finance, systems, HR and business administration responsibilities, offering a high degree of autonomy while working closely with the Director and senior management team.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full finance function, including budgeting, reporting and cash flow management.
  • Oversee business administration processes, ensuring efficient operation of HR and related systems.
  • Collaborate with the Director and management team to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in finance management, preferably within a contracting or services environment.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple business functions.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior leadership.
