Finance Analyst – Sales (New Zealand)

About the role

Apple is seeking a dynamic, highly‑motivated Finance Analyst to join its Sales organisation in New Zealand. You will support the sales team by delivering data‑driven insights, building analytical models, and shaping commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical performance, seasonality, promotions, and macro‑economic factors to understand business trends.
• Support demand generation by providing analytics, insights, and process management.
• Develop and maintain standardised reporting, ad‑hoc analysis, and analytical models.
• Create data sources for reporting, insights and machine‑learning initiatives.
• Apply statistical analysis and data‑quality evaluation to data models.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Operations and Sales Finance to improve performance through tools, reports and processes.
• Prepare presentations that communicate key insights and recommended sales actions.
• Support Apple benchmarking, scorecards and other regional requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience conducting large‑scale financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proven track record in interpreting financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organisational levels.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to compile, validate and understand large data sets.
• Deep commercial acumen with experience analysing channel partner economics and building robust business cases.
