Experienced Project Manager – Construction (NZ)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading national project management consultancy in New Zealand. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, aged‑care, healthcare, master‑planned community and fit‑out projects from planning through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all project activities across the complete project life‑cycle.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Manage procurement, contracts and tendering processes.
• Control programme schedules and project costs.
• Maintain excellent communication and relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Lead design management through consent processes.
• Coordinate external consultants to optimise construction delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of NZ commercial construction experience.
• Background in a Project Management Consultancy delivering vertical construction.
• Experience in commercial, education, aged‑care, healthcare, master‑planned communities or fit‑out projects is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with multiple stakeholders.
