Experienced Electronics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join Halter’s R&D team in Auckland CBD. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will contribute to the design and development of cutting‑edge electronic products that support the company’s global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype and test electronic circuits and systems for new product lines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including mechanical, software and firmware engineers to integrate electronic components.
• Perform failure analysis, troubleshoot hardware issues and implement improvements.
• Document designs, test results and maintain engineering specifications.
• Support the product development lifecycle from concept through production release.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electronics engineering, preferably in a research or product development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
