Executive Assistant – Leading Risk Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Executive General Manager and Leadership Team within the Leading Risk Management (LRM) division of ASB. In this high‑visibility position you will partner with senior leaders, manage complex schedules and ensure the smooth operation of a fast‑paced executive office.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage a complex executive diary, inbox and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate executive meetings, board papers, presentations and leadership documentation.
• Organise key leadership events, business activities and stakeholder engagements.
• Prepare and process expenses, supporting governance and compliance processes.
• Provide administrative support across projects and initiatives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assist other Executive Assistants across the division as required.

Required profile

• Significant experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
• Exceptional organisational, prioritisation and time‑management abilities.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with absolute discretion.
• Resilience and capacity to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
