Essential Services Laboratory Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Essential Services Laboratory Manager to lead the delivery of critical pathology services at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow (CM20 1QX). The position is part of Sonic Healthcare UK, a partnership between The Doctors Laboratory, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The manager will be responsible for upholding the company’s purpose of medically‑led diagnostics, ensuring high‑quality laboratory operations and supporting the NHS Trusts served by the organisation. Salary is up to £80,000 depending on experience. Sonic Healthcare is an ASX Top 50 company with operations in Australia, the USA, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland and New Zealand, employing over 2,500 staff in the UK. The core laboratory is based at The Halo Building in London, with additional sites in Manchester and hospital‑based laboratories across the country.
