About the role
The Enterprise Business Development Manager will lead the expansion of market presence for enterprise storage solutions in New Zealand. This hunter‑type role focuses on creating new opportunities, building long‑term partnerships and converting relationships into revenue across the local ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted go‑to‑market strategy for enterprise storage solutions.
- Build and leverage relationships with enterprise clients, resellers and distributors to generate new opportunities.
- Drive the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through negotiation and closure.
- Engage the market, build trust with key partners and customers, and act as a market expert.
- Collaborate with internal technical and pre‑sales teams to shape tailored solutions for complex enterprise environments.
- Provide insight on competitors, pricing and customer needs.
Required profile
- Proven business development or sales experience in the New Zealand IT industry, preferably with storage or infrastructure solutions.
- Established relationships across enterprise clients, channel partners and distributors.
- Deep knowledge of the New Zealand channel ecosystem.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders such as CIOs, CTOs and IT leaders.
Required skills
- Enterprise storage technologies (SAN, NAS, All‑Flash).

- 12‑month minimum contract with a competitive hourly rate.
