Enterprise Architect – Technology Strategy & Architecture

About the role

BNZ is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join its Technology Strategy & Architecture team. You will help shape the bank’s customer‑engagement and marketing platforms, aligning business goals with technology initiatives and driving innovation across data‑driven services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the transition to the target architecture for Customer Engagement and Marketing & Campaign Management platforms.
• Participate in enterprise architecture rituals, portfolio planning and maturity assessments.
• Support the Customer Engagement change programme, including enterprise orchestration and next‑best‑conversation decisioning.
• Contribute to the Marketing & Campaign Management programme, consolidating MarTech tools and improving campaign effectiveness.
• Partner with Enterprise Data initiatives to ensure trusted, governed data underpins engagement and marketing capabilities.
• Define and evolve the enterprise capability model (BIAN, TRM) for customer‑facing systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of customer engagement, marketing technology, and data analytics ecosystems.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive governance, privacy, and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
