About the role
This part‑time role (20 hours per week) supports Seed & Grain New Zealand in coordinating events, creating content and engaging members across the country. Hours increase around major industry events, giving you a flexible schedule while contributing to the future of New Zealand's seed and grain sector.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organise and execute events for members and industry partners throughout New Zealand.
- Create and curate content for event promotion, communications and post‑event follow‑up.
- Engage members, stakeholders and industry contacts to build lasting relationships.
- Provide additional support and hours during peak event periods.
- Contribute ideas that help shape the direction of the seed and grain industry.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic about the agriculture sector and community engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability to accommodate variable event schedules.
