EMR/EHR Implementation Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

Alignerr is looking for an experienced EMR/EHR Implementation Specialist to help healthcare organizations configure, deploy, and optimise electronic medical record systems such as Epic and Cerner. You will ensure digital clinical platforms align with real‑world workflows, supporting accurate and efficient patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout, configuration and customisation of EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner) to match organisational workflows.
• Analyse clinical and administrative processes to guarantee system compliance, efficiency and user‑friendliness.
• Troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements and drive adoption across healthcare teams.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end‑users, ensuring smooth transition and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing or optimising EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner or similar).
• Strong understanding of clinical and administrative healthcare workflows.
• Ability to translate operational needs into effective system configurations.
• Preferred: background in data annotation, data quality or evaluation systems.
