Employment Coordinator

About the role

Silver Fern Farms Pacific is looking for an Employment Coordinator to join its Hastings site. In this fast‑paced role you will champion good employment practices, support managers and employees, and drive people‑related initiatives such as recruitment, selection and onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and facilitate employment best practices on site.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to managers, applicants and staff.
• Continuously improve HR service delivery and streamline related processes.
• Present HR initiatives to groups and promote the company’s values.
• Collaborate across all business levels to support skill and technical development.

Required profile

• Previous experience in HR or recruitment.
• Strong influencing and relationship‑building abilities.
• High customer‑service focus and problem‑solving mindset.
• Good knowledge of New Zealand employment and HR law.
• Ability to present information to groups and work collaboratively.

• Tech‑savvy with experience using systems and social media platforms.
