Employment Consultant

About the role

Habit Health is seeking an Employment Consultant to join its Tauranga team. You will help clients achieve vocational independence by connecting them with suitable job opportunities and supporting them throughout the employment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source employment vacancies through face‑to‑face employer visits and online platforms.
• Prepare clients for job interviews and assist with job applications.
• Collaborate with clients to overcome barriers to work and develop problem‑solving strategies.
• Provide ongoing support to clients after they are placed in a role.

Required profile

• Recent experience delivering career guidance or job‑coaching services.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Established employer networks and skill in promoting clients for work experience or paid positions.
