Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Email & Lifecycle Marketer will use email to acquire, engage, retain, and reactivate clients, driving measurable revenue and client lifetime value. Working from our Albany office, you will plan and execute end‑to‑end email and automation campaigns in close collaboration with design, product, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, build, and launch email campaigns across the customer lifecycle.
• Create and manage automated journeys such as welcome, onboarding, nurture, and win‑back.
• Segment client lists by behavior, demographics, value, and lifecycle stage.
• Write, edit, and structure email copy, subject lines, and calls‑to‑action.
• Coordinate with design and product to ensure visual quality and accuracy.
• Set up, test, and QA campaigns on the email platform, including link tracking and rendering.
• Monitor performance metrics (deliverability, opens, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes) and report insights.
• Run simple A/B tests and apply learnings to improve future sends.
• Maintain clean, compliant email lists in line with data‑privacy and anti‑spam regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in email or lifecycle/CRM marketing.
• Practical experience with at least one major email service provider or marketing automation platform.
• Strong ability to interpret basic performance data and turn insights into actions.
• Good copywriting skills in English (Chinese a plus).
• Familiarity with customer segmentation, basic A/B testing, and email deliverability best practices.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
