Electrical Fitter – HV Distribution Networks

About the role

Delta Utility Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join its high‑voltage (HV) distribution network team in Hope, Tasman. The role involves hands‑on construction and maintenance of electricity distribution infrastructure, ensuring reliable power delivery across the South Island.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission HV electrical equipment and components.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on HV distribution networks.
• Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the operations team to meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter on HV distribution projects.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and as part of a values‑driven team.

Required skills

• High‑voltage electrical system installation.
• HV maintenance and troubleshooting.
