Electrical Estimator (Full-time)

About the role

Joyn, a Kiwi‑owned electrical contractor, is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join its growing team in Mangere, Auckland. You will be central to managing projects commercially from the tender stage through to completion, supporting the company’s expansion into new premises in Drury.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates for tender submissions.
• Manage contract administration tasks and maintain project documentation.
• Provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and suppliers to gather necessary information.
• Assist in the development of commercial capability and long‑term career growth within the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical estimating or a related commercial role.
• Strong understanding of electrical trade practices and tender processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
