Econometrician – AI Trainer

About the role

DataAnnotation is seeking experienced quantitative professionals to help train and evaluate AI models that perform advanced analytical and scientific reasoning. As an Econometrician‑AI Trainer you will work remotely, choosing projects that match your expertise and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated quantitative analyses for technical accuracy and real‑world validity.
• Design and solve quantitative problems used to benchmark and improve AI systems, including forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
• Write clear technical explanations and well‑documented analytical code.
• Provide feedback that directly influences the next generation of AI models for quantitative reasoning.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a quantitative role or research environment (e.g., data science, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research).
• Proficiency in English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
