Driver/Tester – Concrete Delivery & Testing

About the role

Allied Concrete is seeking a reliable Driver/Tester to deliver ready‑mix concrete across the Nelson region and perform on‑site quality testing. You will ensure each batch meets strict slump specifications before it reaches the customer, while handling loads up to 25 kg safely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ready‑mix concrete to customers on schedule.
• Measure and verify concrete slump to meet quality standards immediately before dispatch.
• Manually handle concrete bags and equipment weighing up to 25 kg.
• Perform routine concrete testing and record results.

Required profile

• Hold a valid Class 4 driver’s licence.
• Strong focus on quality, safety and reliability.
• Flexible with working hours and able to adapt to changing delivery schedules.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
• Enthusiastic with a proven track record in similar roles.

Required skills
