Dispatch & Inventory Coordinator

About the role

The Dispatch & Inventory Coordinator is the central link between production, transport providers and customers in our Roll Forming operation. You will ensure roofing products are dispatched accurately, on time and safely while maintaining an organised, 5S‑compliant yard.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily transport manifests and schedule truck bookings, including long‑length loads.
• Coordinate with drivers, cartage contractors and customers to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Operate gantry crane and forklifts for safe handling of steel products.
• Manage inventory tasks such as stock takes, slow‑moving stock reduction and goods receipting.
• Maintain yard layout, housekeeping and compliance with safety and road transport regulations.
• Provide proactive communication to customers regarding delivery status.
• Support monthly KPI reporting on delivery performance.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in logistics, dispatch or inventory coordination.
• Strong knowledge of the Tauranga, Bay of Plenty and Coromandel regions.
• Current clean driver’s licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety focus.
