Digital Workplace Engineer (Hybrid) – Wellington

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Workplace Engineer to join our technology team in Wellington. The role focuses on supporting modern workplace platforms across a large enterprise, driving transformation and ensuring a seamless end‑user experience. This is an initial six‑month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent placement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for Windows desktop and server environments.
• Manage and administer Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID and Group Policy.
• Deploy applications, software updates and patches using SCCM and Intune.
• Support Azure Windows 365 Cloud PC and Citrix VDI technologies.
• Participate in incident management, change activities and Agile project delivery.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and support teams to maintain reliable, secure workplace services.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the end‑user experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Digital Workplace, End User Computing or Systems Engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
