Digital Media & Communications Officer (Rarotonga)

About the role

Vodafone Cook Islands is seeking a driven Digital Media & Communications Officer to join its Marketing team in Rarotonga. The role will manage and grow the company’s digital presence, support brand visibility and drive customer engagement across online and media platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns and online presence.
• Create engaging content, advertisements and promotional material for digital platforms.
• Promote Vodafone products, services, campaigns and special events.
• Maintain consistent brand representation across all online channels.
• Manage and maintain the Vodafone website and Customer Management System (CMS), ensuring accurate and user‑friendly content.
• Support website development, monitor performance and recommend enhancements.
• Lead social media strategy, schedule content and engage with audiences.
• Coordinate media communications, press releases and public announcements.
• Produce high‑quality video, photography and graphic design content for campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and wider Vodafone teams on projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in digital marketing, communications, media or related fields.
• Marketing degree or similar qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
