Digital Adoption and Training Specialist

About the role

Ngāi Tahu Holdings is seeking a Digital Adoption and Training Specialist to help staff confidently use new digital tools, Microsoft 365 solutions and emerging AI technologies. You will work closely with business leaders and project teams to design and deliver learning experiences that drive technology adoption across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging digital learning experiences, workshops, guides, videos and support resources.
• Support the adoption of Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, as well as emerging AI technologies.
• Partner with change initiatives to develop practical training and enablement plans.
• Provide coaching and just‑in‑time support to build digital confidence across teams.
• Promote safe, effective, and responsible use of digital tools, data and AI.
• Monitor adoption trends, gather feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to scalable learning approaches and champion networks that support future digital initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in a training, learning, enablement or digital adoption role.
• Confidence facilitating workshops and delivering both online and in‑person learning.
• Strong content‑creation skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Passion for Microsoft technologies and digital workplace tools.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and emerging technologies.
• Understanding of change‑management principles and user‑adoption practices.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to engage with Ngāi Tahu values, tikanga and te reo Māori.
