Digital Account Manager (Freelance)

About the role

Noria, a full‑service Amazon growth agency based in Auckland, is seeking a freelance Digital Account Manager to manage a small portfolio of client accounts. The role is 15‑20 hours per week, hybrid, and reports directly to the Founder/CEO. You will own client relationships, drive performance, and shape account strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing communication and tone.
• Run end‑to‑end onboarding for new accounts.
• Deliver monthly performance reports and translate data into commercial narratives.
• Assist with annual planning for 2027, shaping next year’s strategy and targets.
• Flag risks and manage client expectations proactively.
• Own the account growth agenda, turning client requests into priorities and driving initiatives to completion.
• Handle escalations, sensitive conversations, and contract questions requiring client‑level judgment.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing digital marketing or media accounts with measurable performance results.
• Ability to lead and coordinate specialist teams, set priorities and hold members accountable.
• Strong commercial acumen with an instinctive understanding of P&L and bottom‑line impact.
• Calm under pressure, capable of delivering difficult news without causing panic.
• Adaptable and hands‑on, ready to roll up sleeves in a fast‑growing agency environment.
