DevOps Engineer (Mandarin Speaking)

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a fast‑growing technology team. You will work closely with backend (Java/Python) and frontend (React) developers to ensure smooth deployments and optimal application performance, while also providing support in Mandarin.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and manage scalable AWS infrastructure with a focus on high availability, security and cost efficiency.
• Design, maintain and optimise Kubernetes clusters, container images and orchestration strategies.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD or GitHub Actions.
• Write Infrastructure‑as‑Code scripts with Terraform or Ansible.
• Develop and troubleshoot Java, Python and React applications in a DevOps context.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK Stack.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, including kernel tuning, networking and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (including Helm, operators or service mesh).
• Solid Linux/Windows system administration and networking knowledge.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in Chinese (Mandarin).
