Depot Manager

About the role

As a Depot Manager you will lead daily plant operations at our Invercargill LPG depot, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of cylinders to customers. You will manage staff, oversee depot infrastructure, and coordinate on‑site visitors and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the regional depot and daily operations supporting the cylinder market.
• Ensure all distribution and filling activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Train staff to follow company standards and deliver quality service.
• Track and report productivity, identify improvement opportunities and implement cost‑effective solutions.
• Set performance objectives for the distribution team, conduct assessments and drive achievement of company goals.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in the gas industry or a similar logistics/distribution environment at a supervisory level.
• Class 2 licence with at least 12 months of manual‑transmission delivery driving experience.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and a strong commitment to health and safety compliance.
• Proven leadership, decision‑making and communication abilities.
