Delivery Director

About the role

The Delivery Director will lead large‑scale, multi‑stream technology programmes for clients in health, public sector and financial services. You will provide strategic oversight, delivery assurance and senior advisory to ensure transformation initiatives achieve business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex technology implementations across multiple sectors.
• Provide strategic direction and governance across several delivery streams.
• Act as senior advisor to shape delivery strategy, programme structure and risk mitigation.
• Build and lead high‑performing delivery teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor and contract relationships to ensure commercial alignment and performance.
• Engage with executive stakeholders, boards and steering committees to provide delivery confidence and transparency.
• Drive delivery assurance, programme recovery and independent health checks when required.
• Contribute to business development, client relationship management and opportunity shaping.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, multi‑vendor technology programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve delivery challenges and drive successful outcomes.
• Experience in health, public sector or financial services environments is preferred.
