Dayforce Consultant – Payroll & Workforce Management

About the role

We are looking for a Dayforce Consultant to join our fast‑growing payroll and workforce management consultancy. You will lead Dayforce implementations across New Zealand, focusing on payroll compliance, time‑and‑attendance, and workforce management for a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert Dayforce consulting services with a strong emphasis on NZ payroll and workforce management best practices.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, understand business goals and compliance requirements.
• Configure the system, conduct unit, scenario and parallel‑run testing, and support post‑implementation issue resolution.
• Analyse, cleanse and validate complex data sets for migration and system accuracy.
• Document configurations, procedures and client‑specific processes using Word, Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with technical consultants and vendor support teams to troubleshoot system issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing Dayforce or similar HCM solutions.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation and workforce management practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
