Database Specialist – SQL Server/T‑SQL Developer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Database Specialist focused on SQL Server and T‑SQL. You will own production databases, improve performance, and support the data pipelines that power our critical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own and support SQL Server databases in production environments.
• Design, develop, and optimise queries, stored procedures, functions and data structures.
• Tune performance and resolve issues as they arise.
• Support and enhance backend data pipelines and integrations.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and data teams to ensure smooth operation.
• Contribute to code quality and continuous improvement across the environment.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL Server and T‑SQL.
• Confidence writing and optimising complex queries.
• Good understanding of data modelling and database design.
• Experience with ETL/ELT or backend data pipelines.
• Background supporting production environments and solving performance issues.
• Comfortable working with others and contributing to shared outcomes.
