Data/Analytics Engineer – Customer 360 Data Pipelines

About the role

Trimble’s Field Systems Data Team is expanding its data strategy and is looking for a Data/Analytics Engineer to help build a 360‑degree view of customers. In this permanent position you will shape the data backend, migrate key workloads to Snowflake and enable richer analytics across finance, marketing, product usage and licensing data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead migration of data storage and ETL processes to Snowflake and integrate downstream with BI tools such as Domo.
• Design scalable data schemas, audit existing data flows and ensure data integrity for core business datasets.
• Develop advanced record‑linkage and enrichment pipelines using Python and the Splink library.
• Maintain and optimise SQL extracts that feed critical dashboards and reports.
• Implement and operationalise classification algorithms in Snowflake, creating automated incremental runs.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations and other business teams to integrate third‑party systems (e.g., Impartner) and maintain data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a cross‑functional team.
