Data Engineer – Snowflake & DBT

About the role

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT to design, build, and optimise data pipelines for telecom‑focused solutions. You will work closely with domain experts to translate business requirements into reliable, high‑performance data models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ELT pipelines using DBT.
• Develop and optimise Snowflake schemas, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust data transformations.
• Maintain data quality, reliability, and consistency across the data warehouse.
• Provide performance tuning, cost‑optimisation, and access‑control for Snowflake environments.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with DBT and Snowflake, including schema design and performance optimisation.
• Solid understanding of SQL and data‑warehousing best practices.
• Familiarity with telecom business models, systems, and data types.
• Experience with ELT tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and BI tools such as Power BI.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
