Data Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Data Consultant to join our well‑established data and analytics consultancy in Auckland. You will work across a variety of client engagements, supporting data initiatives from requirements gathering through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with high‑performing delivery teams on enterprise data projects.
• Design, develop, and implement data solutions using modern tooling.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver end‑to‑end data pipelines.
• Provide hands‑on support for data modelling, integration, and reporting.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data or analytics development.
• Strong SQL expertise on SQL‑based platforms.
• Exposure to Python, Power BI, Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, or Fabric.
• Understanding of data modelling concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and a curiosity‑driven mindset.
