Cybersecurity Threat Analysis Expert (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a cybersecurity expert to label and analyze AI‑generated conversations for potential threats. The contractor will work remotely, providing ground‑truth data that helps improve AI safety classifiers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze flagged AI conversations to assess intent and potential harm across domains such as data exfiltration, ransomware, worms, and exploits.
• Evaluate proof‑of‑concept exploit development to differentiate security research from malicious intent.
• Provide accurate ground‑truth labels to enhance AI safety classifiers.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving model performance.
• Collaborate with security experts to ensure precise threat assessments and labeling.

Required profile

• Hands‑on offensive security background (red team, malware analysis, penetration testing, or exploit research).
• Ability to distinguish legitimate security work from genuine attack intent.
• Comfort interpreting code‑heavy conversations.
• Masters degree or equivalent experience ranging from early‑career to senior/principal level.
