About the role
Join the brand‑new New World Te Atatu team as a Customer & Stock Assistant. You will work across checkout lanes, online order fulfilment and store replenishment, delivering a friendly and efficient experience for every shopper.
Key responsibilities
- Provide courteous, fast service at checkout counters.
- Pick, pack and prepare online orders with accuracy and care.
- Keep shelves fully stocked, well presented and easy for customers to navigate.
- Replenish grocery items while maintaining proper stock rotation and freshness.
- Support overall store presentation, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
- Assist in various store areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about helping people.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to maintain high standards.
- Strong communicator who is friendly and confident with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, busy retail environment.
- Flexible to work across different store sections and one weekend day per week.
