Customer Service Representative – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join a busy, supportive team within one of New Zealand's largest construction companies. This is an immediate‑start temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately via phone, email and other channels.
• Coordinate deliveries, communicate schedules and any changes to customers.
• Liaise with dispatch, production, drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Handle enquiries, resolve issues and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Monitor order progress and ensure accurate data entry into company systems.
• Work collaboratively to meet service standards while adhering to health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Experience in the concrete, construction, transport or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven customer service experience with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and strong attention to detail.
• Positive, reliable, team‑focused attitude and commitment to excellent service.
