Customer Service Representative – Contact Centre

About the role

The New Zealand Transport Agency is expanding its Wellington Contact Centre and is looking for enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives. You will provide inbound phone and email support, delivering accurate advice and a positive experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and email enquiries from the public.
• Provide timely, accurate information and solutions.
• Document interactions and follow up as required.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication skills and energetic attitude.
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to learn about Te Ao Māori, tikanga, Te Reo Māori and the Treaty of Waitangi.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy.
• Tech‑savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
